Medical Campus Outreach (MCO) is an interdenominational ministry on
medical campuses in the United States. MCO was founded in 1987
at The Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. It was born out of a
deep desire that God placed in several individuals to see medical students
come to know Christ and for them to practice Christ-like medicine with compassion, competence,
and character. Since then, MCO has spread to
9 medical campuses and now involves students from medical, dental,
occupational therapy, physical therapy, nursing, physician assistant,
pharmacy, and other graduate programs. Based upon Christ's Great
Commission (Matt 28:19-20), our mission statement and goal is "to build
laborers on medical campuses to reach a lost world for Christ." Our
desire is to encourage and equip students to be able to fulfill our Lord's
commission wherever they are called. |
