All checks should be made out to MCO. Please DO NOT have them write your name on the check. Your contribution slip, which will have your name on it, will tell us which account to credit.

We are giving each of you return envelopes pre-addressed to East Cooper Baptist Church (ECBC) attn: Tammy Moore for you to mail out with your support letters so that your supporters can mail the money directly to ECBC. Periodically, we will send you a printout of your supporters’ names and the amounts given.

You need to place a contribution slip in each return envelope that you send to each potential supporter. You should write YOUR NAME on the contribution slips and include one with the envelope and support letter to your supporters. Your supporter will fill in their address and name. If they contribute over $250 they will receive a tax slip from MCO. (If they contribute less than $250, they can still claim this as a tax deduction. However, the IRS does not require a receipt for amounts under $250. Thus, if they have questions, you can inform them that they will only receive a tax receipt for donations over $250.)
